The Seattle Seahawks signed former Pro Bowler Edgerrin James to a 1-year deal for $2M on Monday. He will join a crowded backfield led by Julius Jones, but with no clear cut starter.

The Edge is coming off his worst season in his 10-year career. He ran for only 514 yards & 3 TDs in 13 games last season for the Arizona Cardinals. He has a career average of 1,212 yards & 8 TDs per year. He currently has the 11th most career rushing yards (12,121) and 18th most career rushing TDs (80) in NFL history. The 12,121 rushing yards are the most among all active players.
