Quentin Richardson from the Knicks to the Heat

Those might be Bob Seger lyrics, but Quentin Richardson should claim them as his own. He is somehow moving to his fourth team since the end of the NBA season. The season ended less than TWO MONTHS AGO! Today, the 6-foot-6 swingman was traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Miami Heat for center Mark Blount.

I am not sure if the trade was for any reason other than trying to keep Dwayne Wade in Miami next season. He and Q are good friends.

This off-season, Richardson was traded from the Knicks to the Grizzlies to the Clippers to the Timberwolves and now to the Heat. Aside from the Heat, those are probably the worst four franchises in the NBA right now. The Knicks, Grizzlies, Clippers, and T’Wolves didn’t even combine to win 100 games last year. Wow!
