As I mentioned in my article The Rich Get Richer on Monday, former Houston Rockets & Florida State Seminoles guard, Von Wafer, signed with the Olympiacos Piraeus.
The 6-foot-5 high-flyer inked a deal worth $10,000,000 for two years, but has an option to terminate the contract after one year. He made $800,000 last year for the Rockets. In 63 games last season, he averaged 9.7 points per game in 19.7 minutes.
He joins Josh Childress and Linus Kleiza out in Greece. Olypiacos is scheduled to play several games in the United States this year to promote international basketball.
